FIFe - Standard from the Korat cats, Nr. 34 KOR

Body:
Structure neither short like a Manx nor long like a Siamese, muscular, supple, powerful but not heavily built; heavier in weight than appearance suggests. Back curved.

Legs:
Paws oval.

Paw pads:
dark blue-grey to lavender with a pink tinge.

Tail:
medium long, heavier at the base tapering to a rounded tip.

Head / Nose:
Jowls/Muzzle/Chin Viewed from the front the head is heart-shaped with breadth between and across the eyes.
The eyebrow ridges form the upper curves of the heart and the sides of the face curve gently down to the chin to complete the heart shape.
Length in proportion to the face with a slight stop in profile. There is a slight downward curve at the tip of the nose leather (Lion-like)
Jowls and chin firm and well developed, forming a good balance for the profile and for the completion of the heart shape. Muzzle neither sharply pointed nor square.
Chin neither weak nor receding which gives a pointed shape to the head.

Nose leather / Lips:
dark blue-grey or lavender

Ears Shape:
Placement large, broad at the base, slightly rounded at the tips. Inside of ears silghtly covered and outside well covered with extremely short and close hair. Set high on head to give an alert expression.

Eyes Shape:
Colour large, round and well opened, rather oversized for the face, liminous and expressive. Brilliant green colour ist preferred, but amber is permissible.

Coat Structure:
Colour short to medium in length, lying close to the body, single coat.
Glossy and fine. Iclined to break over the spine as the cat moves.
Silver-blugrey all over, hair tipped with silver, the more silver the better. At the extremeties where the is shorter, the silver shine is intensified.

Fauls Coat:... white hairs or patches
                     ... any other colour than silver and blue
                     ... shaddy or tabby markings.

Remarks:
Coat females are silghtly finer built and smaller than males.
... Too norrow head without enough width between eyes is undesirable.
... a jaw pinch is undesriable.
... a nose too long or too short in proportion to the shape of the undesirable. ... small and lustreless eyes are undesirable
... until the cats is 2 years old the eye colour can be amber or greenishamber, the distinctive colour does not become true until after 2 years of age.
... Coat with silver tipping only on the head, legs and feet are undesirable.
